KeymasterHi Raj,
I don’t and have personally not used the “Electrical” flavor of AutoCAD…although I would like to at some point. I’ve used standard AutoCAD for years and have built a library of schematics that I use as a basis for all my fee-for-service projects.
Cheers!

ParticipantKarma: 170Rank: JediHello Raj,
AutoCAD Electrical tutorials are available on LinkedIn. I have been using ACAD Electrical when it was known as VIA Schematic around 1998. Autodesk purchased it not long after that. Every CAD program has a learning curve whether large or small. There is a new electrical CAD program coming out this fall called “SkyCAD” , a Canadian company. I have signed up for the free download for evaluation.
Getting back to your question, I am running version 2011 so that when I draw for someone else, chances are they can open my drawings with any version 2011 or greater. If you want an example, just let me know.

John: I have AutoCAD Electrical 2016
Could you please share example PLC CAD drawings ?
Any Micrologix 1400 based PLC drawing will be really helpful.
