I’m making a selection for emerson’s stand alone RTU, after going thru their site, I’m yet not too clear on one to select. Please if you have used emersion’s stand alone RTU (not with PLC). Kindly send me the part no. for their RTU that can suite a SCADA application where Data will be pulled from existing PLCs on over 60 sites for integration. This help is urgent please and I can’t wait for their customer care to respond.
Thanks in advance for your inputJanuary 27, 2018 at 9:28 pm #1263mrincredibleParticipantKarma: 53Rank: Padawan
Hey PLC Bros,
You can check out Emersons ControlWave Express units. I’ve seen these units deployed in some waster water facilities I’ve worked in. I don’t have direct experience with these units myself, but you may want to give it a look to see if it suits your needs. You can view cut sheet here.
Good luck!January 28, 2018 at 6:40 pm #1265PLCGuruKeymaster
You may want to look into the ROC800 series of RTU’s, depending on what exactly it is you intend to do with these things, i.e., interface a PLC and/or SCADA directly. I think the Controlwave line is dicontinued as mentioned above but I could be wrong.
