ModeratorKarma: 262Rank: JediI find myself needing to convert my FT View ME application to a FT View SE application. I’ve looked at the FT View ME and View SE manuals but neither one provides the process for doing so. I’ve poked around various places on the internet with not much luck.
Does anyone here have any information on what the process is to convert an ME application to an SE application?
Thanks,
Jim

KeymasterHey Jim, hope all is well. I wish I could help you with this one, but unfortunately I’ve never tackled this problem…hopefully somebody here has. That said, if experience has taught me anything, Rockwell conversion tools are “iffy” at best. I would say, if there is a solution out there be prepared to do some heavy lifting afterwards 🙁

ParticipantKarma: 15Rank: PadawanStart Factory Talk SE and create a new SE Project. You’ll have to name it. Then select import. Select the Factory Talk View Machine Edition Project(*.med) type of Project you are Importing from. Then you drill to the location of your ME Project, open that Project folder and select the (med) file with your ME Project name. That file contains everything you need for the conversion.
