ParticipantKarma: 53Rank: PadawanHi guys,
I’ve updated my version of FactoryTalk View Studio to version 10 and I’m noticing a couple new entries in the explorer tree, namely, Audit Trail Setup and CSV Export. Now the CSV Export sounds pretty self-explanatory but I’m not sure what this Audit is and what it’s used for. Perhaps someone here can fill me in on its use and provide examples of when they’ve implemented it and why.
Love this site…thanks!

Karma: 0Rank: PadawanThe information that you get from the audit is basically what you see in the diagnostic viewer. When you change a set point in the diagnostic viewer it will list out the PLC tag and the value that you are writing to it and what it previously was. I started to test this out a few months ago but have not had the time to fully dive in and get the excel export to work.
I set it up according to the demo that AB offers and imported the components into my project.
