Integrating existing expansion module to new Schneider M172 hvac controller

Good afternoon,

Just wondering if anyone has ran into any issues integrating/pairing a new M172 (TM172PDG42R) hvac plc to an older expansion module of the same series.   There is no firmware number listed on expansion module but the new plc has a higher firmware number.   Currently waiting on Schneider support, but the current situation is plc sees expansion but expansion does not respond to commands through Can Open comm’s.

Attempting to upload older firmware with same program but figured Id post in the meantime.

Hi Mark, and welcome to the forums! I’m not familiar with the Schneider series you speak but wanted to personally welcome you to the site. Hopefully someone else here can help or better yet you’ve sorted it out in the meantime. If you do find a solution, you’d be doing others a service by sharing your fix.
