ParticipantKarma: 33Rank: PadawanCan I also make a VLan routing in Stratix 8000? If yes, is it the same as Stratix5700?

KeymasterHi James and welcome to the forums!
Yes, the 8000 is capable of inter-vlan routing provided you’ve enabled the routing functionality. The workflow to do this is pretty much identical to that of the 5700 which I’ve done some videos on my YouTube Channel. The specific video on vlan routing is here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xtzWAXP6FkI&list=PLwSeJ8UtSBoJOrY2DU-GIFxgRW4ahZ-Cm&index=5
While this video series demonstrates a 5700 it should be sufficient to get you going with an 8000.

ParticipantKarma: 33Rank: PadawanI’ve already watch this video, and its really helpful, thanks for the video. Where can I get the device manager for stratix8000?

KeymasterIf you run through the Express Setup you should be able to access the Device Manager through your web browser. Maybe I’m not understanding your question?

KeymasterIn case this will help. I found this old Rockwell video that demonstrates the Express Setup on an 8000: Stratix 8000 Express Setup

ParticipantKarma: 33Rank: PadawanThe stratix 8000 that we were going to manage is existing in a manufacturing plant, does clicking the express setup button will not affect affect the different controllers connected to it?
One more thing, it is required to have an internet to access device manager?
